Bed & Breakfast at the Thomas Shop

All accommodation at the Thomas Shop is Welsh Tourist Board approved with a three star grading. We have a 'Welcome Host', 'Taste of Wales', Walker's and Cyclist's friendly', and 'Green Dragon' accreditation. Wifi is available (to varying degrees) across the entire site. We welcome families and visitors from all walks of life and from every country irrespective of race, religion, age, disability, gender or sexual preference.

The buildings at the Thomas Shop are Grade II Listed and date back to around 1600. Their restoration has been sympathetic to the period when they were built. The rooms are comfortable and centrally heated. We are able to cater for up to six people in the house (but larger parties can be catered for by also booking the Meeting House.)

The 'Maesyfed Room' A family sized room with ensuite, facilities. The cost for two people sharingis £55 per night , including breakfast. A single futon or cot is available on request. Check Availability Book Now!

 

The 'Ithon Room' Single Occupancy £27.50 per night, including breakfast. Has it's own private bathroom. A single futon can provide additional bedding if necessary. Check Availability Book Now!

 

The 'Thomas Suite' A collection of rooms, a family size room, a single room and it's own bathroom. The cost is £55 based on two people sharing, but up to six people could share this suite. Alternatively the single room is ideal for studio or office. A single person in a double room is £34. The 'Meeting House' The upper floor can sleep up to 6 people with a further option of a sofa bed for two downstairs. Fully accessible wet-room and a small kitchenette and is suitable for people who cannot manage the stairs, or for someone with mobility difficulties who comes with a carer. We normally let the Meeting House out at similar rates to those in the house under B&B. There are seasonal variations and offers from time to time so always ask when you enquire. We offer a range of options for breakfast and we cater for special diets. You can order, in advance, an evening meal, a packed lunch or a picnic supper. We pride ourselves that all meals are home made and that the ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible providing a real 'Taste of Wales'.
There are drying facilities for cyclists and walkers, and other visitors. We can also provide a locked room for cyclists to keep their bikes. We are registered as Cyclist and Walker friendly with the Welsh Tourist Board.
